High Quality jewelry could be kept for a few generations. Long time ago, most of jewelry are 100% hand crafted and putting more precious metal into one piece of jewelry. Mining Gemstones (like Jade, Amethyst, Rhodochrosite,...,etc) took millions of years to be formed. When the gemstones had been dug out and became pieces of jewelry, it could not be found the same one again. Some Gemstones are very fragile and soft, e.g. garnets,...,etc. Because of mining gemstones, they could not be replaced. So some used jewelry costs more.
We could amend or redesign pieces of jewelry to fit for your personal style, which are called Special Order or Customized design.
